      Welcome back to our Muztagh Expedition Log series. The past few days brought some challenges. Despite our eagerness to take the helicopter up to the ice core drilling site 6,500 meters above sea level, the weather gods are playing tricks on us! And as we learn from the scientists - unpredictability is a big part of scientific research on the Tibetan Plateau.
