Yemenis hold on to Ramadan dessert tradition amid soaring prices

      In the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, the Yemenis hold on to a tradition of enjoying popular desserts after iftar, the breaking of the fast. However, many Yemenis nowadays can no longer afford such desserts, as their costs have increased significantly after the outbreak of the Yemeni civil war.
