Rose Henderson: We must respect diversity and work together

      Rose Henderson, former International Vice President of International Federation of Social Workers said that there are many interpretations of democracy. "Respecting diversity and embracing difference adds to our cultural richness, sustainability and to a peaceful humanity." Henderson stressed the importance of connecting and collaborating with social workers in local communities. She made the remarks at the second International Forum on Democracy: The Shared Human Values held on Thursday in Beijing.
