Meet the beaver species in China, cute and intelligent

      As a subspecies of the Eurasian beaver, Castor fiber birulai is China's only beaver species and is under first-class national protection. Its population of about 600 lives primarily in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
